In the Matter of Awarding the Bid for the }
Sale of Surplus Computer Equipment }
RESOLUTION NO. 11-06
WHEREAS, certain computer equipment and peripherals belonging to Jefferson County
have been identified by the Central Services Department as no longer required for County
purposes because they are broken, worn out, or outdated; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on February
21sT, 2006, wherein they declared such computer to be surplus and directed the Central
Services Director to sell such equipment by sealed bid process; and,
WHEREAS, the Central Services Department did advertise the sale of said computer
equipment and peripherals in the PT Leader on March 1st, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners was informed at the public meeting of
March 13th, 2006 that no bids had been received:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, that the Board of Commissioners directs the Central
Services Department to proceed with disposal as stipulated in resolution 08-06.
APPROVED this 13th day of March, 2006.
