Naming a Private Road X
Little Quil Road, Little
Quilcene River Road or
Little Qui! River Road X
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received a petition (Exhibit "A") to name
a private road, as shown on attached map (Exhibit "B"), either Little Quil Road or Little Quilcene
River Road or Little Quil River Road; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner is a property owner on this road; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name, pursuant to the Jefferson
County 911 Emergency Locator System Ordinance Number 2-0401-91, to allow for addressing
along the road; and
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are currently no addresses assigned at this
milepost number; and
WHEREAS, notification was sent to interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the road is currently signed with the first choice name and the road is known
by this name; and
WHEREAS, no negative responses were received for the first choice of Little Quil Road;
and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road be. named Little Quil Road.
