In fall of last year, I shared with you the Land Trust’s goal to conserve two farmlands in Dungeness. Today, I’m excited to share some news - Mid Valley Farm is officially protected
forever!
This was a community effort. Thank you for supporting conservation and protecting this place we love!

over the next ten years while continuing to meet our habitat conservation goals. The conservation of Mid Valley Farm is a strategic start, and this community helped us get there. Thank

Next time you’re driving north on Sequim-Dungeness Way, and right before you get to the entrance of Sunland, look to the West. Just beyond the small roadside farm, you’ll see a field
extending to Evans Road. That’s Mid Valley Farm! It’s permanent protection means you and future generations will always see farmland in that spot.
As the conservation of Mid Valley Farm highlights, the collective power of our community can translate into land and waterways being protected forever.
