Dear Members of the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners,
I have attached a request for ARPA funding of enhancements to the East Jefferson Fire and Rescue Station 1-2 on Marrowstone Island to serve as an emergency center that can remain functioning
even when electrical power and water are cut off.
I have also attached a letter of support from Mr. Willie Bence, Director, Department of Emergency Management.
This is the first application for ARPA funding by the Marrowstone Island Foundation (MIF).
Please let us know if you have any questions or requests.
