Tonight's joint Planning Commission + City Council meeting is a great way to share your feelings on the importance of affordable workforce housing with our elected and appointed officials. Join in the conversation, show up and be present, or send your love letters by 4:00pm today: PublicComment@cityofpt.us Easy prompts are available below- but we encourage you to speak from the 💕 and write your own story. This Valentine's Day, dump the duds of exclusionary zoning codes and help lavish the community in an affordable housing strategy that shows all Port Townsend residents the LOVE. HSN has enlisted the help of National Affordable Housing Hall of Fame Inductee Kim Herman to support efforts here locally. Kim will be sharing his insights and expertise from over 40 years of work in the affordable housing arena; specifically funding opportunities. As the former Executive Director of the WA State Housing Finance Commission, Kim has helped fund over 187,000 housing units over the last 35 years throughout the state. We encourage the community to come listen, learn, and support affordable housing efforts in Port Townsend. We can't wait to see you all tonight! City Chambers is located at 540 Water Street, Port Townsend; located on the second floor with elevator and stair access. Headsets are available for in person participants who have trouble hearing.
