A few items of note from the BOCC/WSDOT meeting.
I hope WSDOT has or is planning to inform the Chimacum School district on times and precise locations of Swansonville and Shine closures for the planning of bus routes. I would hope
sooner rather than later since it will impact the very beginning of the 23-24 school year.
Also, with the difficulty of staffing for the ferry system these past few years what is being done to mitigate the issue during the weekend closures. PT had to cancel sailings during
the recent 7 hour closure of Hood Canal due to staff not being available and I am aware of employees on the Olympic Peninsula that are stationed at Kitsap terminals.
Just points to consider.
