To the DNR and Jefferson County Commissioners,
My husband and I have been property owners at the end of Toandos Peninsula for over 30 years. We are in total support of DNR's proposed protection of all 826 acres of state forestlands
within the Dabob Bay Natural Area boundaries where they would be managed for recreation, wildlife habitat, or open space uses consistent with the management plan for this natural area.
We care and want to support forest preservation of the remaining old forests and habitats on the Toandos Peninsula now and for future generations. The native vegetation supports native
wildlife and native pollinators that co-exist within the Toandos environments. Thank you for your support and efforts to protect the native and old growth forestlands within the Dabob
Bay Natural Area boundaries that will in turn protect the water quality, shellfish and wild habitat of these rare forests.
