DNR and the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners,
As a registered voter in Jefferson County, I support the proposal to permanently protect the 826 acres of state forests within the current boundaries of the Dabob Bay Natural Area.
These areas include: Lemonds Forest, Lower Thorndyke Creek, and the slopes and forest along the east side of Dabob Bay. Further, I support the Trust Land Transfer Process that will
provide replacement timber lands to the County and its junior taxing districts. I believe having the areas critical to a vital watershed and ecosystem preserved is an investment in
our ecological future.
