HomeMy WebLinkAbout030223 Saving Dabob Bay and Legacy Forest on Toandos Peninsula________________________________ ALERT: BE CAUTIOUS This email originated outside the organization. Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. ________________________________ Greetings, I am urging DNR and Jefferson County to protect all 826 acres of the state forestlands within the Dabob Bay Natural Area boundaries as soon as possible. Protect the 500 acres of the rare Lemonds Forest , lower Thorndyke Creek, and legacy forest along the east side of Dabob Bay under the DNR's Natural Heritage Program, and by including them within the DBNA boundaries. Please, make these acres a heritage we can treasure for the future, rather than making quick $$$$ for state/county treasuries. Sincerely, Carol Price Member of Kitsap Environmental Coalition
