Advisor,
I support the DNR's proposed protection of 826 acres of state forests lands within the current boundaries of the Dabob Bay Natural Area. These proposed areas include Lemonds Forest,
Lower Thorndyke Creek, and slopes and forest along the east side of Dabob Bay.
The Trust Land Transfer process will permanently protect these lands while providing replacement timber lands to the county and its junior taxing districts.
