Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. ________________________________ To the DNR: I am writing in support of the Dabob Bay Inter-Trust Land Exchange. I support DNR's proposed protection of all 826 acres of state forestlands within the Dabob Bay Natural Area boundaries as soon as possible. Protection of these forests supports water quality (including our local water supplies), shellfish, wildlife habitat, rare forest types, and the overall integrity and beauty of our local world. Swapping these parcels also makes sense from a practical perspective, due to watershed complications and unstable slopes. The resources for the Common School Trust are fungible, but our ecosystem and environment are not. The Trust can be made whole with the TLT exchange program. Our local ecosystem & its globally rare forest types cannot be made whole again if we fail to protect it. I support maximum conservation. (If less than the full 826 acres must be protected, then please prioritize globally rare plant communities and forest types.) I am a fulltime resident, voter, and landowner in this area, and I support this effort. Thank you for your attention to our region. Sincerely, Sheila Lopez (Dabob Bay resident & landowner)
