As someone who worked in habitat restoration and salmon recovery of Dabob Bay and Tarboo Creek for 3 or so years, I have firsthand knowledge of the importance of these lands to fish and wildlife. I have seen the chum and coho that migrate back to spawn, and their fry that beat the odds. I've removed ivy and blackberry from century-old trees and planted native plants that will one day support future salmon. The existence of our local salmon rely so heavily on these forests, and losing the wetlands, buffers, and woody debris that the forests provide would be disastrous. Save our salmon! Protect Dabob Bay! Thank you!
