Become a Red Cross Volunteer
Help After the Storm
Volunteers carry out 90% of the humanitarian work of the Red Cross. Whether helping one displaced family
or thousands, providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran, or teaching others
how to respond in emergencies. The Red Cross responds to an emergency every 8 minutes, and our vital
work is only possible because of people like you. Vaccination verification required for in -person roles.
Disaster Logistics
Volunteer

disaster preparedness,
response and recovery.
Including acquisition
of materials, facilities,
and warehousing.
This is a hybrid role.

Disaster Action
Team Members
Assist individuals and
families who have been
impacted by a home fire or
other local disasters. This
is an in -person position.
Disaster Mass
Care Responder
Support the community
with disaster response
and recovery effort
including feeding,
sheltering, reunification,
and distribution of
emergency supplies.
