This news follows our announcement in January <https://jchsmuseum.us18.list-manage.com/track/click?u=11155357fd6e7ba31f3d5bf11&id=28964883bb&e=70d6482893> that Shelly Leavens will be resigning her position as Executive Director this spring. Tara has over 20 years of experience in museum education, strategic planning, and leadership and has transformed JCHS education programs since joining our team in 2019. In addition to managing the strategic direction of our education and programming, Tara has taken on a core role in the reimagining of our museum visitor experience as project manager for the New Jefferson Museum <https://jchsmuseum.us18.list-manage.com/track/click?u=11155357fd6e7ba31f3d5bf11&id=88f2d5f041&e=70d6482893> . Tara will assume the interim leadership role no later than June 2023.
