Last month I had the privilege of attending the Fortive Leadership Conference (FLC) in person for the first time, and while I had high expectations for the event based on what I heard from past attendees, I was blown away by how valuable the meeting was! FLC 2023 allowed Fortive's collective leadership team to disconnect from our daily responsibilities and focus on creating connections, learning new skills and accessing tools that will help us further support our teams to perform their best. We heard from leaders at each Fortive Operating Company about how they are using the Fortive Business System to support continuous improvement so we can harvest new ideas here at Gordian. We had time to network with other leaders facing similar changes to support one another, share knowledge and make connections that will last well beyond this event. We had the opportunity to hear world - renowned author Marcus Buckingham's latest insights into effective leadership in today's professional climate. And, to top it off, Gordian's leadership team was proud to accept an award for being the Operating Company with the highest growth rate in 2022! I left the Fortive Leadership Conference grateful for the experiences and opportunities Gordian provides its employees, and feeling a renewed pride for being part of this team for nearly two decades.
