Click Here to Apply <https://wsac.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=6943e0d4535671f24022ca02a&id=230cf59eff&e=03d5c964a3> Current Openings: Government Participation Mechanism (GPM) Workgroup The Purdue and Mallinckrodt Opioid settlements require a Government Participation Mechanism (GPM) in order to provide recommendations for the funds being provided to the counties to not include the 4 largest. Health Care Authority is required to administer both the GPM and the funds for these 35 counties. The initial membership of the GPM is required to have twelve (12) executive branch members, twelve (12) local members, and state planners have also elected to include two (2) tribal members and four (4) members with lived experience. GPM members are required to have experience, expertise, and education with respect to one or more of the following: public health, substance use, healthcare equity, and other related topics necessary to ensure that the GPM can effectively function. Members of the GPM will initially be appointed for a period of twelve (12) months. In addition to recommendations on the use of the initial payments received from Purdue and Mallinckrodt, first-year members will be asked to form by-laws that specify a formal selection process, duties, and membership terms for future members.
