Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. ________________________________ Hi everyone, NODC and a number of other local organizations have partnered with PNNL on projects and we all benefit from their presence in our region and their willingness to contribute. The Department of Energy is interested in hearing from communities about ways that having a national lab nearby could contribute even more to local innovation. DOE has put out a Request for Information with responses due March 28th: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2023/01/27/2023-01440/activation-energy-does-national-laboratories-as-catalysts-of-regional-innovation I’d like to put together a meeting of any of you who are interested to start formulating a response. Please let me know if you’d like to be part of the group. This could ultimately lead to more funding being available for PNNL and other national labs to work with their local communities. All best, Karen Karen Affeld (she/her) Executive Director North Olympic Development Council (NODC) 360-477-1593 karen@noprcd.org <mailto:karen@noprcd.org> www.noprcd.org I’m sending this message at a time that works for me. I don’t expect a response outside your normal working hours.
