The magic of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library continues to grow in Washington State, now reaching over 50,000 children between birth and age five with a free book in the mail each
month. With the recent milestone accomplishment, the Imagination Library is now available in all 39 counties in Washington, making the program fully available in 33 counties and partially
available in the remaining 6 counties.

state early learners, allowing them to dream, learn, connect, and develop a love of reading. The Imagination Library of Washington and affiliate team are so thrilled to reach this new
height of engagement and impact,” stated ILWA Executive Director, Brooke Fisher-Clark.

&n=2> , serving both Thurston and Mason counties, is the most recent addition to the Imagination Library affiliate family, providing nearly 20,000 more children the opportunity to build
a rich home library of books prior to entering kindergarten. Since the organization’s official program launch on March 2, more than 1,900 children have been registered for Dolly Parton’s
Imagination Library.

is rapidly continuing its expansion efforts, with just 6 partially covered counties remaining to complete statewide coverage; King, Pierce, Snohomish, Skagit, Grant, and Adams counties.
In partnership with the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), a 50% funding match is provided to all Washington affiliates to support monthly enrollment and book
costs. This match has been integral in uplifting new affiliates and covering new state territory, as well as helping affiliate stability and enrollment growth.

incredibly important for children’s development. By providing books to all children at no cost to families, the Imagination Library is removing barriers and setting up children for
success in school and beyond. I am grateful to have the opportunity to support this critical program for our young learners.”
