Hi there;
Just doing a nice low and loud flypast of the Brotherton Bunker also known as the Jefferson County Board of Health. Understand we have enemy forces closing in on Dr. Berry ready to
Benghazi her, and understand there are some complaining about masking.
https://www.ucsf.edu/news/2020/06/417906/still-confused-about-masks-heres-science-behind-how-face-masks-prevent
the strongest evidence in favor of masks come from studies of real-world scenarios. “The most important thing are the epidemiologic data,” said Rutherford. Because it would be unethical
to assign people to not wear a mask during a pandemic, the epidemiological evidence has come from so-called “experiments of nature.”
A recent study published in Health Affairs <https://www.healthaffairs.org/doi/10.1377/hlthaff.2020.00818> , for example, compared the COVID-19 growth rate before and after mask mandates
in 15 states and the District of Columbia. It found that mask mandates led to a slowdown in daily COVID-19 growth rate, which became more apparent over time. The first five days after
a mandate, the daily growth rate slowed by 0.9 percentage-points compared to the five days prior to the mandate; at three weeks, the daily growth rate had slowed by 2 percentage-points.
Another study <https://www.researchgate.net/publication/342198360_Association_of_country-wide_coronavirus_mortality_with_demographics_testing_lockdowns_and_public_wearing_of_masks_Update_June_15_2020
> looked at coronavirus deaths across 198 countries and found that those with cultural norms or government policies favoring mask-wearing had lower death rates.
Here's the CDC:

Wear a Mask to Protect Yourself and Others
* Masking is a critical public health tool and it is important to remember that any mask is better than no mask.
* Wear the most protective mask you can that fits well and that you will wear consistently.
* Wearing a high-quality mask along with vaccination, self-testing, and physical distancing, helps protect you and others by reducing the chance of spreading COVID-19.
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/masks-public-transportation.html
When people properly wear a high-quality mask or respirator, they protect themselves and those around them, and help keep travel and public transportation safer for everyone. Wearing
a high-quality mask or respirator is most beneficial in crowded or poorly ventilated locations, such as airport jetways. CDC also encourages operators of public transportation and transportation
hubs <https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/masks-public-transportation.html#operators-conveyances-hubs> to support mask wearing by all people, including employees.
OK, that's sufficient.
No way in hell am I gonna Benghazi my public health doctor. One low, loud, effing flyover delivered.
