We're getting ready to testify about the importance of robust funding for Washington's outdoors. The Senate just released their budget recommendation today <https://wildliferecreat ion.us9.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0f4ebc0827fada7e62b54ea21&id=edf75ab705&e=8c3506b728> , which includes a record-setting $120 million for the WWRP and $5 million for planning grants. These are wonderful numbers and we’re thankful for this great start. We are already behind on investments for our environment and recreation opportunities. We NEED to go big this year, for our ecosystems, for our health, and for our economy. So, we will be thanking the Senate for stepping up, and encouraging the House to match this or go for even higher levels -- for full funding.
