HomeMy WebLinkAboutHFB survey 2023HOUSING FUND BOARD SURVEY ON 2022 RFP PROCESSES The Jefferson County/City of Port Townsend Housing Fund Board (HFB or the Board) is seeking feedback from housing providers eligible to receive funding through the Fund 148/149 and 1590 Request for Proposal processes. The Board hopes to make the funding processes accessible, fair and transparent, and acknowledges that the 2022 process was frustrating for many of the parties involved. As a newly created Board, we strive to get these important funds out the door and put to work most effectively, which can be challenging given extraordinary need, limited funds, competing priorities, and necessary trade-offs. We need your help in figuring out the best way to approach and overcome these challenges in 2023 and beyond. Please answer the questions below on the topics of Application Process, Criteria and Priorities, and Funding Strategy. Feel free to provide descriptive answers. Application Process Did you apply for funding in 2022? If no, why not? Did you receive adequate notice of application availability? Were there aspects of the application process that went well? A larger amount of funds made available less often? Comments: ____________________________________ Should we use a quantitative criterion and scoring process OR a subjective, consensus process OR a hybrid model, using both quantitative and qualitative values? ______________________________________ __ In addition to the criteria set forth in statute for these funds, what other criteria should the Board consider in weighing/ scoring?
