Gratitude, Accomplishments, and What Happens Now?

Yesterday many of us sat in reflection of the work and process that led to last night's Council meeting and subsequent amendment vote.
One thing was very clear to us in how Housing Solutions Network shows up to these conversations:
We invite the Community to participate,
We support the Community when and how they show up,
We amplify the voices of the Community,
But we don't do it without the Community.

Major Accomplishments
Community Engagement. In case you haven't heard it yet today, thank you for championing affordable housing for our local workforce. Now more community members understand the process,
feel empowered to engage, and invite others into the process.
We know that with our combined voice, and the power in numbers, our City has heard the plea and know that we will continue to show up for conversations on affordable housing and the
future of Port Townsend and Jefferson County.
So thank all of you veteran advocates, newbies with shaky voices, and the in-betweens (some of us still with shaky voices!) for showing up for yourselves, your friends, and your community.
As we look forward to next steps, we know you all will be a part of the conversations.

➨ Employer Housing. At the foundation of HSN's work, we're here to help local workers stay local. The Employer’s Report and KPTZ panel discussion are two examples of how we have provided
local employers the ability to voice their concerns. Hopefully now we can aid in their housing efforts.
