Subject: Bid Opening, Pavement Marking on Jefferson County Roads for Calendar Years
2023 through 2025
Statement of Issue:
A request to publicly open and read submitted bids at 10:30 A.M., or shortly thereafter, as
indicated in the CALL FOR BIDS for Pavement Marking on Jefferson County Roads in Calendar
Years 2023 through 2025,
Analysis/Strategic Goals:
The Board issued a Call for Bids for the above services on March 13, 2023. Bid invitations have
been duly advertised in accordance with competitive bidding requirements.
Fiscal Impact:
The Department of Public Works has allowed for Pavement Marking services in the 2023
through 2025 Budget for Road Operations. The Engineers Estimate for this (3) year project is
$542,599.00
Recommendation:
The Board is requested to have Public Works staff publicly open and read the submitted bids
aloud, then confirm the accuracy of the bids and verify the bidders' qualifications and make
a recommendation to the Board for award of the Contract at a later date.
