Dear Regional Administrator Roark,
Attached is a letter submitted by Clallam County Commissioner Mark Ozias, Jefferson County Commissioner Kate Dean, Port Townsend City Manager John Mauro, Sequim City Mayor Tom Ferrell
and Port Angeles City Manager Nathan West, on behalf of Jefferson and Clallam County and their major municipalities.
The unknown Hood Canal bridge closure period continues to create significant challenges for our communities. Our abilities to plan ahead are relatively impossible without certainty around
these closure dates.
We pledge interest and willingness to work together as a region and with you to maximize benefits and minimize harm to our communities and our important relationship with WSDOT.
Please consider our request.
