Local Government Partners,
First, I want to express my personal gratitude to each of you who led the chorus of concern to WSDOT regarding the planned bridge closure. Your leadership and persistence really made
an impact. Although any extended bridge closure is going to be a logistical issue for our fire and emergency services, the updated plan addresses our main concerns. I feel we can mitigate
these shorter closures, preserving the safety of our community.
