STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT re: Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board;
Unexpired Term to End March 2, 2024; District No. 3 Representative, Karin Nyrop
ANALYSTS:
An email was received from Matt Tyler, Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Manger relaying that after
advertising, the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board interviewed and unanimously
recommends appointment of Karin Nyrop to a vacant District No. 3 Representative position. This term
currently has an unexpired end date of March 2, 2024. When this term ends and advertising is once again
complete, Ms. Nyrop may be reappointed to a full two (2) year term.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT re: Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board; Unexpired Term to End March 2, 2024; District No. 3 Representative, Karin Nyrop
