EARTH DAY April 22nd 10am - 1pm At the Salmon Center Come join us at the Salmon Center for an Earth Day extravaganza! Help us take care of important habitat at the Farm at Water’s Edge, including our native plant buffer and food forest. These areas contain over 200 native and edible plants that attract beneficial pollinators and will provide delicious fruits, nuts, and berries to our community as they mature. By removing invasive species and preparing the farm for spring, you will be helping to conserve a vital native ecosystem that supports Washington’s wild salmon populations. There will be guided and self-led activities as well as volunteer projects! HCSEG will be providing volunteers with their own take-home planting kits, guided estuary walks, visits to the farm animals, a scavenger hunt, teach folks how to build their own bug hotel, and more!
