201 Montgomery Court
Port Ludlow, WA. 98365
The Board of Equalization held a hearing on February 28, 2023.
After thoughtful consideration the Board finds that the Appellant did present the clear, cogent, and
convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the full value originally
established by the Assessor. However, the Assessor indicated that the Appellant's property assessment
could be given an one-time additional reduction of$60,000 to reflect the cost to install the liner.
Chairman Gillette moved to overrule the Assessor's original valuation and apply the Assessor's suggested
Valuation of$340,000 ($88,400 for the land and$251,600 for the improvements). Member Raab
seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. (See also minutes of February 28, 2023)
