2023 Workplan
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Each Department in Jefferson County has been requested to brief the Board of County Commissioners on
their 2023 Workplan.
ANALYSIS:
The Jefferson County Extension Washington State University has begun carrying out its work for calendar
year 2023 and would like the opportunity to present their workplan to the Board of County Commissioners,
County Administrator, and general public. The presentation will discuss these programs: Master Gardeners,
Water Quality& Marine Resource Committee, Small Farms,4-H Youth& Families and Noxious Weed
Control.
RECOMMENDATION•
That the Board listen to the presentation of the Jefferson County Washington State University Extension
Workplan for 2023, ask any questions they might have and provide any required guidance.
