Statement of Issue:
Public Works (PW) staff has completed checking the bids opened on April 10, 2023 for the
above-named project. PW finds it to be in the County's best interest to award this Contract to
the low bidder, Specialized Pavement Marking, LLC of Tualatin, OR.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's:
Award of this Bid is consistent with the County's goals in that it provides for safety of the
motoring public. Signing the attached Bid Award Memorandum authorizes the contract
amount.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis:
Pavement Marking services are included annually in the Public Works Road Operations Budget.
The total cost for this 3-year contract is $615,320.00.
Recommendation:
The Board is asked to award this bid by signing the attached Memorandum and returning it to
Public Works for further processing prior to final execution of the Contract by the Board.

SUBJECT: Award of Contract for Pavement Marking on Jefferson County Roads in Calendar
Years 2023 - 2025.
Public Works staff has completed checking the bids opened publicly in the Commissioners
Chambers on April 10, 2023 for the above-named project, and have verified the qualifications of
the bidders.
In accordance with the Contract Documents and Specifications, Public Works staff finds it to be
in County's best interest to award the Contract in the amount of $615,320.00 to the lowest
responsive bidder named below:
Specialized Pavement Marking, LLC
11095 SW Industrial Way, Suite A
Tualatin, OR 97062
The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners approves award of this bid to the above-named
contractor.
