Dear County Commissioners,

I strongly support passing the resolution on entheogens.
Decriminalization will reduce harm and enable people to pursue help they may need and otherwise may not be able to get.
Governments should not prohibit behavior that is not obviously harmful to society and, as recent data suggests, can be helpful.
I’ve read that the initial criminalization of entheogens by the Nixon administration was motivated to punish and suppress political opponents. It is past time to drop that kind of vicious
nonsense.
