Spanning 3,000 miles of Washington State’s saltwater shoreline, the new Maritime Washington National Heritage Area is a recognition of our state’s unique and diverse water-based heritage. After three years of planning, Maritime Washington is ready to set sail and build a network that connects, strengthens, and increases appreciation for Washington’s maritime heritage—and we want you to be a part of it. We hope that you will join us for a discussion about the Maritime Washington National Heritage Area and what it means to be a partner, followed by a chance to connect with fellow maritime heritage advocates over happy hour. Please note that this is an invitation-only gathering. If you cannot attend, you can feel welcome to extend this invite to someone else from your own organization to attend on your behalf, but please refrain from inviting other organizations. Instead, we would be happy to work with you on your recommendations. Please see the attached flyer for additional information and send RSVPs to me directly. And, of course, don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! We hope to see you on May 4.
