As we reflect on last month's Forum 2023, we want to thank all the attendees, presenters, sponsors, and partners who contributed to such an enriching few days. We're honored to be able
to focus and elevate workforce development across the U.S with this convening each year.
We were blown away by the energy, insight, and passion you all brought to D.C. To pick just a very few highlights from a conference that was jam-packed with activity...
* Over 1400 workforce development leaders threw themselves into learning, teaching, discussing, and problem-solving.
* With our Local Business Sunday small-business voucher initiative, we went out into D.C. and created over $25,000 of economic impact.
* We heard not just from industry professionals across the nation, but from workforce development leaders from Greece, Singapore, and Ireland.
* DOL officials offered technical assistance on apprenticeship, equity and inclusion, marketing vs. outreach, and more.
* Over 150 speakers engaged attendees in Issue Sessions, Table Talks, Pop Ups, and focus groups that moved the workforce system forward.
* Four workforce development boards were honored for their exceptional programs and partnerships with 2023 NAWB Awards.
When we think about the cumulative impact of The Forum— played out across the country, in the work done by you all, as you return to your communities with new plans, ideas, and expertise—
we feel so much gratitude. It's an honor to convene all of the brilliant public servants and community leaders who make up NAWB and help you chart your path forward.
We’re already counting down the days until we join everyone again: March 23-26, 2024, for The Forum 2024!
