I strongly support passing the resolution on entheogens. I have personally experienced and witnessed in those close to me the healing properties of entheogens. I believe that entheogens
free us individually so that we are able to engage more constructively communally.
I believe decriminalization will allow for stronger community building, as we will be able to create better practices in an open and sharing way regarding cultivation and use. In this
regard I also believe in equal access to entheogens.
I am writing this letter because I won’t be able to attend the County Commissioners’ Meeting on Monday, May 1st. I will be in Canada where my sister and I will be taking our mother on
what we call an Entheogen Guided Forest Tour. It will be our 81 year old mother’s first time trying psilocybin and we are so excited for her.
