LEGAL COUNSEL: Philip Hunsucker,Chief Civil Deputy Prosecuting Attorney
SECRETARY: Adiel McKnight,Executive Assistant/Claims Coordinator
CALL TO ORDER: Risk Management Committee (RMC)members participated in the meeting remotely.
Chair Melancon called the meeting to order at 10:33 a.m. In attendance were Members McCauley, Bence
and Prada.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Chair Melancon called for public comments and none were received.
DISCUSSION OF RECONSIDERATION: The Risk Management Committee discussed the following
item(s): Claim#-04-23 re:
#C-04-23; Kelly Liske; Torn Power Guide Wire out of Roof and Breaking Meter; In the Amount of
$3,225.13 which was denied on February 7, 2023. The Committee received a revised recommendation from
Public Works that recommends approving based on supplemental information provided by claimant.
Member Prada moved to approve the claim per Public Works recommendation. Member Bence seconded
the motion. Chair Melancon called for additional public comments.None were received. She called for a
vote on motion. The motion carried.
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Chair Melancon adjourned the meeting at 10:09 a.m. until the next
regular meeting or special meeting as properly noticed.
