RE: Recognition of your service to Jefferson County, WA
Ms. Alen,
The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners would like to thank you for your many years of service to the
people and businesses of Jefferson County.
In your role as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, you have navigated a large and diverse
geography, a number of significant turn -over of leadership roles in our communities, and weathered a global
pandemic. You have been gracious throughout, willing to pivot and partner at a moment's notice, and being a
resource for the County and your members alike.
We also want to acknowledge your role on the Jefferson County Planning Commission. While this is a
challenging position, you are often the first to raise your hand for additional volunteer roles. You bring a
wealth of experience in planning and governance- this was a gift to the Planning Commission.
You will be missed in your myriad roles in Jefferson County. We wish you all the best in future endeavors,
wherever they may take you. Thank you for giving so generously of your time and energy these past six years.
