April 2023 Sales Taxes Posted2023-04-24 DOR April 2023 posted revenue • Regular & Optional Sales Tax is 9% over 2022YTD and 1.28% over budget for the year; • Hotel-Motel-Transient is 51.7% over budget and 35% over 2022YTD. I contacted DOR about the Transient State share amount being significantly off in February and March 2023 from the Hotel-Motel amount. Correction made by DOR with April distribution, and the amounts are now within a range I would expect to see given the differences for local sales tax collected and state share calculations and distributions.
