Chimacum $13 per person (kids are free) $13 per booth/ tailgate/ table space ~ Pay cash upon arrival Join us in an open air market setting, in the spirit of bartering~ please arrive with a willingness to trade with folks, that's the encouraged from of currency for this gathering. Money is a great trade item, come along if it's what you've got to barter! Bring your art, potions, second hand goodies, books, tools, clothes, plants, gift certificates from your business or whatever else you have to share and let's strengthen our connections through interactive exchange! This is a small family friendly event. There will be tea service, but no prepared food on site~ bring along a picnic! No dogs, this is a working farm with animals. It takes a lot of hands to make this event a success~ barter your way in with a couple hours of work trade! Tell your friends! This is a word of mouth event in an effort to keep it grassroots. Commercial and home-scale. The 1st Northwest Wildcrafters Rendezvous is happening May 26-28 in the Methow Valley, Mazama, WA. It will feature wildcrafted medicinals, edibles, fibers, crafts, essential oils, flowers essences, ecology and plant spirit medicine. The event is being organized by Michael Pilarski and friends. The price is low ($100 for a whole weekend of education including meals) but we can offer even lower fees if someone could transport some of our gathering supplies from Port Hadlock to the gathering. OR to anyone with cooking skills who would focalize cooking one meal (with volunteers). We would waive the $100 admission for coordinating one meal. There is an overall kitchen coordinator for support. He is from the Higa-onon Indigenous Peoples in Southern Philippines. Datu has been invited to the Keeping the Home Fires Burning conference in California being organized by the Seventh Generation Fund for indigenous Peoples. This is quite the opportunity for Lanelio on behalf of his tribe. Lanelio has an online funding campaign to raise money so he can attend. He has raised $1,142 so far out of $1500 needed.
