County and City Elected Officials from WSF-served Communities,
Good morning.
Continuing our practice of the last several years, as we near our busy summer sailing season, we’ll be hosting virtual public meetings. In this round the meetings with be route specific,
allowing customers to hear local, as well as systemwide, issues addressed. In addition to issues like service restoration, new vessel procurement, and the just-passed budget, because
this is a fare setting year, we’ll be joined by commissioners and staff from the Washington State Transportation Commission, listening to any questions or feedback we receive as we
prepare our tariff proposal.
As you’ll see in the attached flyers, the meetings, all starting at 6pm, begin on Tuesday, May 23, and end on Wednesday June 7. I have also attached the news release we’ll be sending
later this morning announcing the meetings.
I hope having the graphics will allow you to share them with your constituents. Prior registration, which allows us to collect contact information for follow-up communications, is required.
