This year there were six presenters, including commercial fisher Kathy Pool, who told of her encounter with the Canadian Coast Guard; Amanda Thieroff, whose culinary encounter was with a fresh and flopping albacore tuna, and Inger Rankins, whose sailboat capsized and sank in heavy wind off the Port Townsend waterfront, casting her and her husband into the 46 degree water of Port Townsend Bay. This year KPTZ attended the sold out She Tells Sea Tales and came home with these and more scintillating tales. Now in 2023, the beloved event makes its debut ~ right here, on the 91.9FM airwaves!
