• Mental health: contemplation of suicide rates are alarmingly high. many
reported that while this is true, we also observe a high rate of youth
displaying openness to communicate their challenges, which allows
them to get into counseling and accessing mental health resources.
• Discussed risk factors for mental health in the time of COVID,
adolescence, environmental/ecological devastation, etc…
• Tobacco use- combustible cigarettes and vaping/ecigarettes
• Vaping in general- those who vape are often vaping products
containing THC
• Other substance use rates are concerning, despite wide confidence
intervals on data for grades 10 and 12.
4:25 Workgroup will be convened to develop the 2022-2023 action plan, which is
due June 15th, 2022 to our funder- Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery.
