PURPOSE OF THE MEETING: Community updates and news
In attendance: Jerome Stevens (CJSHS SAP), Cynthia Langston (Positive Action counselor),
Shayann Hoffer (Jefferson Teen Center), Ryan Stevens (Principle) Heather Miskew (Teen
Center Manager)

3:30 Andrew Introductions and Community Updates:
• Shayann discussed new funding opportunities she is applying for to
continue operating the Teen Center
• She would like to host more events at the teen center discussed having
Guiding Good Choices presented there.

Update from the SAP
• Jerome shared how he plans to start implementing LifeSkills training
and how he’s getting to know the community better.

Update from Positive Action
• Cynthia shared concerns some of the children have been asked to
inappropriate pictures and how she helps educate them

• Med Take back events
• Guiding Good Choices
