Introductions
3:40 Program Updates
• Pride 2022: Denise updated the group on Sound of Pride at Pope Marine Park June
25, 2022. The Coalition funded educational and outreach resources, pins, and
stickers. Denise reported that there was a large turnout from the community, and it
was a positive and fun event for folks of all ages!
• Office space change for Coalition Coordinator: Lindsay reported that the Prevention
Team at JCPH (Lindsay, Holly, Andrew, Laura) will be moving offices in late August.
They will be located at 623 Sheridan St, across the street from the JCPH main office.
• Med Take Back staffing for October 29, 2022: Lindsay asked if any coalition
members would like to volunteer to staff this year’s event, as she will be out of town
on that date. Lyberty suggested reaching out to the Discovery Behavioral Health
REAL (Resiliency, Engagement, Advocacy, and Linkage) team.
• Nurse Family Partnership Presentation: Lindsay asked if the next meeting (August
23) would be a good occasion to schedule a presentation from NFP about their
programs. People agreed that this would be a good time.
Coalition/Community Updates
• Lyberty brought up a new business in PT, Z Tea bubble tea shop, and the coalition
discussed ways to support their youth programming. Lindsay will reach out to the
business and connect.
• Alicia brought up Family Reunification Day- August 20, 2022 at the Courthouse Park
from 10am-1pm. They are still looking for volunteers. There will be a volunteer
meeting at Aldriches at 2pm on August 2nd.
• Holly brought up medication lock boxes that are available at JCPH, leftover from the
Med Take Back events hosted in April. Call the front desk to learn more, or stop by

• Holly brought up the coalition’s presence at the Jefferson County Fair on August 12
and 13 in the 4H building.
• Kelly brought up the All County Picnic on August 20 at HJ Carroll Park. This is a fun
event for all ages, learn more at: https://theproductionalliance.org/events/all-

• Community Survey 2022: Lindsay described the survey, and that to fulfill the DBHR
contract deliverable, the coalitions will need to collect a total of;
for Quilcene-Brinnon: 100 surveys
for Chimacum: 180 surveys
for PT: 180 surveys

Discussed connecting the JC Crisis team with any tMHFA resource sharing that is part of the
curriculum.
Discussed forming a workgroup to continue action plan review: Al, Laura, Lyberty, Alicia,
Kelly, and Holly volunteered. Lindsay will follow up with them to meet before the next full
coalition meeting
