3:55 Community Development project with Community-Oriented Public Health Practice Program
(COPHP) Summary and discussion
• Summary of project design: questionnaire, community events, interviews with subject
matter experts, focus group/town hall
• Discussed recommendations around stigma reduction and outreach expansion
• Discussed how to integrate overdose prevention into parenting education, vaping
prevention education, youth overdose prevention education, and developing a monthly
‘focus group’ with funding from the potential county millage funds to pay participants for
their voices/thoughts/lived experiences.
