In-person attendance limited to 30 individuals. Details about locations will be forthcoming. Community Updates • Kate shared that there is a feasibility study taking place on a community wellness center. A public meeting on March 16. https://cityofpt.us/engagept/page/online-open-house-planning-healthier- together-aquatics-center-feasibility-study • Tanya shared information about OCH Care Connect resources for people who are needing support after testing positive for COVID-19. https://www.olympicch.org/care-connect • Tanya shared information about a food insecurity survey coming soon, and the plan for summertime food support for students. • Discussed the film screening of ‘Love in the Time of Fentanyl’, and continued community education about the landscape of the opioid epidemic and fentanyl, and overdose prevention resources. • Susan shared that the Benji Project mindful self-compassion 8-week workshop for teens has been launched, it is taking place Wednesday afternoons at the Nest! 3:55 Discussed Vaping Prevention education history in Jefferson County, and developing resources for parents. Laura has medication lock boxes to give away at the Blue Heron Parent Night on April 20, and a flyer that will be included provides information on talking to youth about substances. 4:15 Discussed Coalition Assessment Tool, looked at the table that summarizes all of the questions.
