3:55-4:05 SAP updates: Red Ribbon Week and clubs.
Will launch Healthy Choices Club and Prevention club at QSD
in the coming weeks. Extended invitation to youth to join
‘youth forum’ for coalition decision making.

4:15-4:25 Mission and Vision statement
Mission draft: The Quilcene Healthy Teens Coalition, in
positive partnership with the community and it's members,
will provide leadership and a motivating environment for
students to make heathy and drug free choices and take
charge of their future.
Vision draft: Through trust, commitment, and integrity,
empowered youth and the community making healthy
choices.
Discussion on statement amendment will occur at next
meeting. Formal vote to adopt mission and vision statements
will occur at December meeting.

4:25-4:30 Coalition Structure Review.
Discussion on voting: if general consensus is not achieved,
move to vote. Coalition Coordinator will abstain from voting.

Majority is 51%, coalition coordinator may serve as tie-
breaking vote.
Membership: coalition membership is open to anyone
attending their first meeting. All persons present at time of
voting have full voting privileges.
