3:45-3:50 Key Leader Event recap: Megan Moore, MPH of Prevention
Voices, WA. Megan shared information regarding the
legislative process, how citizens can become involved in
communication with lawmakers, and reviewed bills to watch
relating to marijuana, alcohol, tobacco, and mental health
services.

3:50-3:55 SAP updates: clubs and programs are up and running. Still
recruiting interest for Healthy Choices Club

3:55-4:10 Program selection review
Communicated proposed programs to coalition body.

4:10-4:20 Bill update: Reviewed tobacco and alcohol bills relevant to
Quilcene youth. One pager on Senate Bill 5129 “PUP bill” was
shared with coalition. Invitation extended to coalition
members to write to senator Van De Wege regarding support.
Greg volunteered to review the bill and one page summary.
Will forward bill information to him. (Done 1/19/2022)
