Student Based Health Center Spotlight: Dr. Bower
• Sees a wide variety of visits: physicals, depression,
injury/illness/STI screening/contraceptives
• Can assist with insurance navigation/sign up for
Medicaid
• Clarification that visits are confidential unless discussion
involves self-harm/suicidal ideation or the student is
younger than 13 years old.
• Celebrated Dr. Bower’s commitment to her students’
wellbeing. Thank you for all you do!

SAP updates: Healthy Choices Club!
• Art collaboration project starts tomorrow in room 12
• Pieces will be hung in JCPH lobby and SBHC
• Come hang out for art, pizza, and veggies 😊

• Discussed what comprises a coalition: representation
from several community sectors
• Chair and co-chair leadership team? Would love to
generate student interest in these positions
