Focus of this conference is on public health, youth cannabis prevention, equity, and safety. This training does have a fee, but the coaltion can cover registration fees for two interested persons. Link for CannAct info: https://www.ph-mjsummit.com/ Holly Gumm 3:05 WASAVP (Washington Association for Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention) Potential membership with WASAVP was brought before the coalition. Fee for the year is $250. This membership includes coalition training, communication relating to substance misuse/violence bills during legislative session, and support from WASAVP leadership. We will return to this discussion at October’s meeting Holly Gumm 3:15 Looking Ahead Upcoming family events in Quilcene/Jefferson County include: Jefferson county fair, free circus in the park, the Quilcene Oyster Races, and Overdose Awareness Day (see infographic at the bottom). Believe in Recovery’s mobile MAT unit will be rounding in south Jefferson County M-Thurs at Quilcene Fire and Rescue from 9-12 and Brinnon Fire and Rescue from 1-4. Holly Gumm 3:20 Early adjournment!
