New business: Alex’s cool hair
Old business: Recap of the work Alex has done with students
in Quilcene Schools. Prevention education, substance misuse
interventions, social emotional learning, and mental health
support.

3:20 Community Survey Brainstorm
We received 71 community survey responses from south
county residents. While we fell slightly short of the 100 we
were required to collect, we discussed strategies for higher
participation rates for the fall 2023 survey. Ideas included:
• Tabling at parent-teacher conferences
• Attending more community events/festivals. Bring paper
copies to hand out
• Recruiting coalition members to distribute paper copies at
various gatherings
• Continue to boost social media posts/incentivize
participation
